How to spot worn brakes

Learn some of the difference between normal wear and worn out.
Brakes are designed to slowly wear as you use them, which is why regular maintenance is so important. Visit your local Quick Lane® for high-quality service and products - including pads, rotors, drums, shoes and more – from one of our experts.
Depending on usage and brake pad type, most brake systems will need service every 50,000-120,000 km. Your brakes are important for vehicle safety, so reference your owner's manual for recommended upkeep. Have your brakes inspected at every oil change, or at a minimum, any time you hear a grinding, squeaking noise, or feel a vibration in your steering wheel.
From brake pads to brake drums and rotors, Omnicraft™ and Motorcraft® offer high-quality products to ensure vehicles have brakes that are safe, more dependable, quieter, and more durable.
